Thank You to ALL

I wanted to say Thank You to ALL for being a big part of this car / truck club. It has been a blast and I can't wait till next year.....Safe Space has asked if we could do a car show or cruise in in April. April is known as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. They hold a motor cycle rally and would like to have a car event tied into it. So we'll be working on that too. We'll also be starting on getting things lined up for the 3rd Annual Boy's and Girl's Club Car Show.

Christmas dinner

Ok, it looks like more people for Saturday so Saturday it’ll be. Now I called to see about reserving the conference room but it’ll cost us about $50 in gratuities and I couldn’t see doing that. Because if something comes up then and only 5 show up then we’ll be stuck with the extra charge. They did advise me that we could just call 30 minutes in advance and they’ll move some tables together for us that way we are not locked in

Cruise

4th Saturday of every month.

Louisburg, NC - Johnny's Bar-B-Q Highway 56 West off of 401 North 4:00 - 9:00PM

We have been given the opportunity in taking over these shows if we wanted. We are looking at trying to get our own equipment to use for hosting the cruises and the raffles. This way we don't have to pay anyone for setting up. We can do cruises for all kinds of fundraisers.

Tom and Janet had picked up alot of items for the Car Show. They picked up way more than I ever expected. This years raffle is going to be great because of all the items collected so far. Thank You EVERYONE that has stuck by the Car Club  and getting the show on track.

Friday's Cruise 7-24-09

The cruise at the Chick-fil-a off Roxboro Rd. Durham was big. There were over 100 cars out there and we had a good time. I met alot of new people and have some good ideas for cruises we can hold. I believe it would do alot better for us all. Anyway I wish we could of had some support on showing. We have given out alot of flyers and so has David.
